To order, please email with item title and reference number, price, and your full name and address. We will reply with total price including shipping and insurance. We will reserve your item for seven days while awaiting payment. Once full payment has been received, your item will be shipped.
We accept PayPal, checks and money orders from US customers. PayPal only for international customers. If paying by check, please allow up to 10 days for your check to clear the bank before the item is shipped. Colorado residents or local pickup add
sales tax between 4.05% and 7.4% depending on address; you will be invoiced
the correct amount. For non-Colorado residents, you are responsible for all local sales taxes.
We ship via USPS Priority Mail, unless you request some other form of shipping. PLEASE NOTE: we only pack and ship once per week. If you need your item quickly, please notify us so we can attempt to accommodate your request. We are located in a small rural community and our shipping takes a few days longer in transit than shipping from a large city.
Insurance is required for any item over $50 and optional for items under $50. We charge actual shipping costs except on large or difficult-to-ship items, which may require a handling fee to cover costs of materials. You will be notified of shipping and handling costs so you can agree to the cost before you pay for your item.
We ship to street addresses only, no PO boxes. If paying via PayPal, we ship only to confirmed addresses.
If your item is received with external damage to the box, notify the shipping carrier immediately. Claims for damage in shipping should be addressed to the carrier. Remember to save the box and packing materials.
We welcome international customers. PayPal only please as a form of payment. You are expected to be aware of customs regulations for your country; please do not purchase any item we cannot legally ship to you. We do not falsify customs documents. You are responsible for paying any applicable local taxes and customs duties. We cannot estimate delivery time for your item, since local customs inspections and shipping carriers may cause a delay during shipping.
We accept layaways on purchases of more than $300. Please email for layaway policy. No refunds or returns on layaway purchases.

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have some concern, please email immediately so we can consider addressing your issue.
We sell only antique clothing. We make every effort to accurately describe each item accurately. However as with any antique item, there will always be some age-related flaws. These flaws serve as proof that the item is an antique. Antique items should always be handled with care to avoid any damage. We do not accept returns for any item damaged after it leaves our hands.
We do not sell antique clothing as wearable. We will not accept returns because an item is the wrong size or if it is damaged by "trying on" or handling.
The following are the conditions for returns:
- You must email within 48 hours of receipt of the item, explaining your concern.
- We may require a photograph to document any flaws you are concerned about, so we can compare to the state of the item when it left our possession.
- If we agree to the return, you will receive a response authorizing the return and informing you of the amount of your anticipated refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
- We will not make refunds under any circumstances for unauthorized returns. We do not offer partial refunds. There are no refunds or returns on items in the For Study or Restoration category. Sorry, no returns or refunds on international sales.
- Item must packed for return in the same way we packed it for shipment to you. Returns must be shipped fully insured. We suggest USPS Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation; if you wish to use some other shipping method, please email with details. Please note that we are located in a small town and not all shippers deliver in our area.
- We must receive the item within seven days of our email authorizing the return.
- We may charge a restocking fee of up to 10% of the item purchase price, to cover the cost of preparing the returned item for resale.
- Items paid for with PayPal will be refunded in PayPal. Items paid for with check or money order will be refunded with a business check.
Allergy Alert: Antique clothing has by its nature encountered a hundred years or more of dust, mold and mildew, insects, etc. Each item has passed through many hands in its long lifetime, and the prior owners may have exposed the item to pet hair, cigarette smoke, etc. We cannot be responsible for any allergy issues you may encounter upon exposure to the clothing. If you have serious allergy problems, we strongly recommend that you not purchase antique clothing from us or anyone.
Environmental Conditions: Owning antique clothing requires a commitment to caring for it properly so it can be enjoyed by later generations. Our clothing is stored in acid-free conditions with low light, temperature control, and low humidity. If you handle or store any antique textile improperly, it will deteriorate. We are always happy to assist our customers in planning appropriate storage and display conditions to protect your investment. Please email for advice. We cannot be responsible for any storage or handling related issues that occur once the item is in your possession.
